A Ceremony Designed Around the Couple
Each ceremony I officiate is custom-created for the couple and the setting. I do not work from a rigid script, because every wedding is different—different beliefs, different traditions, different personalities.
Some couples arrive with detailed ideas for their ceremony.
Others simply want to arrive, breathe in the moment, and trust that it will unfold beautifully.
Both approaches are perfect.
My role is to create a ceremony that feels natural, heartfelt, and seamless for the couple while also working smoothly within the flow of the wedding day.
Ceremonies can include elements such as:
• Traditional or non-religious ceremonies
• Prayer or spiritual blessing (optional)
• Personal or guided vows
• Hawaiian lei exchange
• Honi honi – sharing the breath of life
• Ring exchange
• Sand or candle ceremony
• Cultural or family traditions
Many couples prefer to not be concerned with a script, allowing them to stay fully present in the experience. Others enjoy contributing personal vows or readings.

Optional Add-On Services
Rehearsal — $200/hr
Up to one hour guiding the ceremony rehearsal with the couple and wedding party.
Travel Fee — $75/hr
Applies to locations beyond the Kona to Waimea area.
Attire Options
Couples and planners may choose the attire that best fits the tone of the ceremony classic, neutral or Hawaiian attire.
Classic Neutral Attire
Simple, elegant clothing in neutral tones such as:
• Black
• Blush
• Solid blue
• Solid green
This style blends easily with most wedding aesthetics and photography.
Traditional Hawaiian Attire
As a cultural practitioner in hula, I also offer the option of officiating in traditional Hawaiian attire, which can bring a deeper sense of place and cultural presence to the ceremony.
This option is especially meaningful for couples who wish to honor the spirit and traditions of Hawaiʻi during their wedding.
